Itinerary

Day 1

Meeting point in Deer Lake at the Deer Lake Motel at 8:00am. Transported to the park and a meet a great for lunch at Fisherman’s Landing Restaurant. Enjoy a great lunch and begin our journey to the visitors centre. Get ski’s fitted and hit the trails. We will ski for about 3 -4 hours our first day.

Day 2

Today we begin our journey to our lodge for the next two night. Cross Country Ski through beautiful forest that lay in a blanket of snow. Enjoy the back country lodge in a glacier carved, snow covered landscape.

Day 3

Today we strap on our snowshoes and travel to ten mile pond. This is a full day snowshoe.

Optional Activities
Lunch cooked on a open fire. Head back to the lodge for another night stay.

Day 4

Begin to pack up gear for our ski out to the community of Rocky Harbour for our last night stay. Head to Norris Point in the evening for a great view of the tablelands in winter.

Day 5

Today we head to the north end of the park where we snow-shoe to the mouth of beautiful western brook pond fjord. Enjoy one of Gros Morne National Parks most scenic treasures. Head pack to pack you gear for a journeys end. Transported back to Deer Lake. Drop off at 4:00pm
