The North Rim

The North Rim is the one of the most scenic hikes in Gros Morne National Park. The hike will take you to the top of Western Brook Fjord which is about 700m high. The North Rim is one of the rarely completed hikes in Gros Morne. If your looking for adventure without the crowds and wanted to spot more wildlife, then this is the hike for you.

Tour Itinerary

  • We begin our tour at 9:00am at the parking lot of Western Brook Pond.
  • After our meet and greet with your guide and other travellers, we start with a brief orientation of the adventure and then begin with a gentle and easy hike for the first 2 Hours, till we begin our accent up the fjord wall.
  • Begin the climb up the steep valley to the summit.
  • From here you will be able to view panoramic views of Gros Morne National Park, and keep your eyes open, this is home to the Woodland Caribou and the Arctic Hare.
  • Eat Lunch at the summit and begin our journey back down the Fjord
